There are a number of NYS Parks and Forests within close distance to Fish Creek Cabin Resort. Snowshoe through the trails in Verona Beach State Park then stop and see Pixley Falls State Park’s 50 foot waterfall. A popular cross-country ski trail runs along Black River Canal, which is just inside the park entrance.

Do you have WiFi?
We currently do not have wifi at the cabin resort, our apologies.
Just spent a winter weekend here. Loved it! Cabins are brand new and all unique. We went cross country skiing for the first time and would definitely do again. Currently planning a return in the summer with friends and family. Can’t wait to go tubing or kayaking or both!! Enjoyed talking with owners who shared info on activities and local ponts of interest. Thanks for a great stay. See ya this summer!!!!!
Can you fish at the resort property?
Yes, NYS requires a fishing license everywhere in the state. You can buy a day, week, or year pass on http://www.dec.ny.gov/permits/6091.html
Is there a microwave or stove in the cabins?

Yes, there are microwaves and stoves in each cabin. You can see pictures of the inside of each cabin on our website or facebook page. we supply all your kitchen needs, you just need to bring your own linens, blankets,towels and pillow cases.

Just stayed in “Tug Hill” cabin on 1/28/15 and 1/29/15. We had to come back after our wonderful experience last year! This time we brought our in-laws and boy did we have a blast! I liked how the furniture was rearranged and the addition of the chairs were added for more seating. If you are looking for a nice quiet get away without the noise and distraction of TV and technology I highly recommend staying at fish creek lodges!! Thanks again for a wonderful get away- we will be sure to book again next winter 🙂

Planning our 3rd visit this summer. Last summer our group from Buffalo booked 4 cabins, this year we have rented 9!! Such a great unplugged escape for adults and kids, everyone wants to join in. Can’t wait to share our new favorite camping spot with all of them. I love that there are activities like kayaking and tubing available to do as a group (We also did cross country skiing in the winter). The cabins are so well equipped there won’t be anything you wish you had brought. We actually had to make note of what to leave at home! So glad we found Fish Creek Cabin Resort.
