The name of our first cabin has been chosen, ‘Chipmunk‘!

If you around the Taberg area today we will be hosting another Open House from 9am-dark where you can get an exclusive look inside ‘Chipmunk’. There will be refreshments and a fire blazing seeing it’s a little chilly outside. We will guide you around our resort’s trails so you can experience our creek-side view of the East Branch of Fish Creek. If you want to get a great view of fall foliation in the foothill of the Adirondacks, stand on the bridge crossing the East Branch of Fish Creek (on Main St.) and look upstream, absolutely stunning!

For those of you wondering, why ‘Chipmunk’? Well, the name came to me as I pondered on the porch, looking at the creek-side view for an answer of what to name our first cabin. My gaze was drawn to two chipmunks chasing each other around right in front of the cabin porch. I got the answer I asked for, simple, but we will also have to name our 14+ cabins coming in over the next year! Keep an eye on our blog for pictures of the next three cabins that will be coming VERY SOON, one next week!
